Playing roles comes easier to some than others. For me, pretending to be something I’m not isn’t something anyone would ever hire me to do—it’s been tried. But for Allan Greenberg, trying on another persona is as easy as trying on a new pair of socks.

I met Allan through our agency’s president, who—once upon a time—was Allan’s art-director partner. Allan is a copywriter turned actor, model, and voice talent living and working in New York City who wanted to do more than write clever headlines, he wanted to deliver them! These larger than life ambitions needed tools that would match Allan’s larger than life persona and get him a lot closer to acting and a lot farther away from copywriting.

We started with practical things: a brand identity, a business system, a website, and a three-part direct-mail campaign anchored in old-world poster notions—a mentalist mesmerizing, a magician with rabbit in hand, and a contortionist impossibly intertwined—all designed to demonstrate Allan’s depth, breadth, and flexibility. From those three, we built a full campaign—print and digital—with rules that travel: a warm vintage palette, beveled gold type, a soft burst behind the art, a custom monogram, and a simple promise that whether on stage or on camera, Allan fits the part.

To scale the imagery, we used AI like a studio assistant—our look, our limits—so the illustrations stayed human. Every portrait followed tight blocking: cropped below the chin, a centered amulet, hands doing the acting. Within these guardrails, the world expanded to include mystical vignettes, spellbound botanicals, and animals of superstition.

The result is a fully integrated brand campaign that performs—on a postcard or a poster, a website or a social feed—aimed squarely at the business end of a casting director’s phone. This deep, coherent image library keeps the work fresh so whether on stage or on camera, Allan Greenberg is always on brand.
