Our Lines Run Deeper

Working for Marlin, smack dab in the middle of America’s Midwest, we were about as far from the ocean as a design team could get. But Marlin’s reputation in the foodservice industry traveled well beyond Missouri, giving us the opportunity to work with UniPro, America’s largest foodservice cooperative, once again—this time to create a new identity and packaging system for Ocean Horizons.

With more than 50 years of foodservice distribution experience behind it, Ocean Horizons brings a depth of knowledge as vast as its name suggests. Its portfolio spans shrimp, scallops, and a variety of fish, all flash frozen at sea to help preserve peak quality and fresh-from-the-water flavor. From ocean to table, every product is sourced with intention, making high-quality seafood more accessible for operators and more dependable on the menu.

While Ocean Horizons was already an established brand, the new logo and packaging system gave us the chance to completely reimagine how it showed up in the market. We built the identity around the place where water meets sky — a simple, ownable horizon line that could carry the brand’s name, its breadth, and its promise. It was designed to express where quality meets convenience, where today’s seafood favorites meet tomorrow’s menu demands, and where operators can find products they can trust, every time.
